Privacy notice | Harbour Crest Financial
How we collect, use, and protect personal information.
This privacy notice explains how Harbour Crest Financial (“we”, “us”) handles personal data when you use connectwebs.digital or enquire about financial advice. We act as data controller for website enquiries and client administration connected to our practice.
Data controller
Harbour Crest Financial, 3872 Mavis Drive, Quigley-on-Miller, Scotland, United Kingdom. Email: hello@connectwebs.digital. Phone: +44-6-177-9354.
Data we collect
- Identity and contact details you submit (name, email, phone, preferred meeting window)
- Enquiry content, including advice area selected and message text
- Technical data such as browser type and pages visited, where analytics cookies are accepted
- For clients under engagement: financial fact-find information needed to provide regulated advice, held under separate client terms
Purposes and lawful bases
We process enquiry data to respond to your request (legitimate interests / steps prior to a contract). We process client advice files to deliver our services and meet regulatory record-keeping duties (contract and legal obligation). Where we rely on consent — for optional analytics cookies or newsletter signup — you may withdraw it at any time.
Retention
Unsuccessful website enquiries are normally retained for up to 24 months. Client advice records are retained for the periods required by UK financial services regulation and our professional indemnity requirements, which may extend for several years after an engagement ends. Newsletter contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share information with IT hosting providers under contract, professional advisers (solicitors, accountants) when you ask us to, product providers when implementing agreed advice, and regulators or law enforcement when legally required.
International transfers
Our primary operations and hosting preferences are within the UK / EEA. If a supplier processes data outside the UK, we require appropriate safeguards such as UK International Data Transfer Agreements or equivalent measures.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection to certain processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office. To exercise rights, email hello@connectwebs.digital. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Children
Our services are directed at adults making financial decisions. We do not knowingly collect data from children through this website.
Cookies
